One of the key provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was increasing Medicaid’s income eligibility thresholds up to a minimum of 138 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) for certain population groups. These are known as the Medicaid Expansion groups or MAGI populations.
In this webinar, learn about the Medicaid Program; when disabled and blind individuals qualify under MAGI Medicaid and when they qualify under non-MAGI Medicaid; the qualifications for MAGI vs. Non-MAGI categories; and what happens when a Medicaid recipient returns to work. The webinar also includes a brief review of the Medicaid Buy-in Program for Working People with Disabilities.
