National Disability Institute (NDI) Executive Director, Michael Morris, presented today at the American Savings Education Council (ASEC) winter meeting in Washington, D.C.
During the presentation, Mr. Morris spoke about advancing economic self-sufficiency and the challenges people with disabilities face. He also highlighted different opportunities and offered suggestions for partnerships with the disability community through employment, product development and improved customer service. ASEC is a national coalition of public and private sector organizations undertaking initiatives to raise public awareness about what is needed to ensure long term personal financial independence. Members include AARP, Aetna, American Express, Unum, Wal-Mart, Cigna, Boeing, Bank of America and many other financial services companies.
