The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requires banks to effectively deliver retail banking services in low and moderate income (LMI) geographies and to LMI individuals. Yet recent findings from NDI’s analysis of the FDIC Survey of Unbanked and Underbanked Households reveals that people with disabilities, who are disproportionately LMI, are three times as likely to be unbanked as those without disabilities and have a significant unmet need for credit.
This webinar will present results of the survey supplemented with findings from a series of focus groups conducted with people across the spectrum of disability and discuss opportunities for banks to better address the needs of this population.
