The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has created a brochure, “Community Reinvestment Act: Opportunity for Modernization.”
In this brochure, OCC discusses why CRA needs to be modernized now, the CRA’s background and authority, and opportunities to improve CRA regulations. In hopes of “Making CRA Regulation Work Better for Everyone,” OCC aims to highlight the benefits of and clarify: what activity is eligible for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) consideration, expanding where activity counts, creating a more objective way to evaluate CRA activity and improving the transparency and timeliness of reporting.
