Michael Morris, National Disability Institute’s Executive Director, was one of three panelists to present at the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors First Economic Inclusion Event on July 23, 2019.
The goal of the event was to inform Federal Reserve colleagues on wealth disparities among different populations, as well as the intersectionality of these groups. Each presentation was about a half hour long and discussed data and trends in each of the speakers’ respective fields, with 30 minutes of discussion following.
The two other panelists were:
- Amy Castro-Baker, Assistant Professor Affiliated Faculty, Alice Paul Center and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies, University of Pennsylvania
- Darrick Hamilton, Executive Director, Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at Ohio State University
