The first in the nation multi-state Alternative Finance Project brings together the economic empowerment focus of NDI and the backing of capital from several financial institutions to bring Assistive Technology loans to individuals in New York and New Jersey. Harnessing the power of technology with an on-demand loan orientation and online loan application, the project provides consumer loans for Assistive Technology, including home and/or vehicle modifications. Participating financial institutions worked with NDI to offer rates and applicant criteria that will offer new opportunities to previously disenfranchised borrowers.
