Kathleen Brannigan is the Director of Marketing and Communications for National Disability Institute (NDI). She brings more than 20 years experience as a journalist and public relations professional, in both the private and public sectors, to the position. Before joining NDI, she served as the director of communications for Disability.gov, an initiative of the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy. Prior to that, Kathy held the position of senior director, Global Communications for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), a nonprofit serving the international business travel industry. A graduate of State University of New York, College at Cortland, Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English Literature. In her free time, Kathy enjoys writing literary fiction, hiking, international travel, practicing tai chi and qigong and growing different kinds of heirloom tomatoes.
