Join National Disability Institute as we explore and discuss recently released research regarding the wide range of out-of-pocket expenses that can often weigh heavily on household finances and increase the risk of poverty for persons with disabilities and their families in the U.S. These additional expenses have a direct effect on households, making it more difficult to meet monthly expenses and save for the future. As part of our discussion, we will explore possibilities for budgeting and saving to prepare for the extra costs of living with a disability.
This webinar is supported by the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities through the Financial Wellbeing for People with Disabilities initiative.
